"A few weeks ago I happened into a local diner for a cup of coffee and found an Assisted Transitions brochure on the counter. I think we’ve all heard of “divine intervention” however never was it more applicable than at this time in my life. I had been working without any success on locating an assisted living facility for my aged mother who has very limited resources. I must say that at a very trying time in my life, caring for my mom and making sure she had the quality of care she need and deserves, to be able to talk with someone who not only assisted me with different choices to place my mom, but also had such a caring spirit. That caring spirit, made me feel better just talking with Rick and Mark. They did NOT just give me a list and rush off the phone. Mark spoke with me about his own personal situations with his family, which made me feel that we were not alone in dealing with our family struggles.
